Aurva Episode: Restoration of Sight and Restraint of World-Destructive Anger
अज्जरपर्ण गन्धर्व वित्त मां स्वबलाश्रयम् । अहं हि मानी चेष्युश्व॒ कुबेरस्य प्रियः सखा,“अरे, ओ मनुष्यो! दूर ही खड़े रहो। मेरे समीप न आना। तुम्हें ज्ञात कैसे नहीं हुआ कि मैं गन्धर्वराज अंगारपर्ण गंगाजीके जलमें उतरा हुआ हूँ। तुमलोग मुझे (अच्छी तरह) जान लो, मैं अपने ही बलका भरोसा करनेवाला स्वाभिमानी, ईर्ष्यालु तथा कुबेरका प्रिय मित्र हूँ
Vaiśampāyana uvāca: Aṅgāraparṇa gandharva, vitta māṃ svabalāśrayam; ahaṃ hi mānī ca īrṣyuś ca, Kuberasya priyaḥ sakhā.
Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: “Kilalanin ninyo ako bilang si Aṅgāraparṇa, ang Gandharva. Sa sariling lakas lamang ako umaasa. Ako’y likas na mapagmataas at mainggitin, at ako’y minamahal na kaibigan ni Kubera. Tumayo kayo sa malayo, O mga tao—huwag kayong lalapit sa akin.”
