Extraordinary power arises from proper transmission of knowledge and disciplined acquisition; yet the verse also implicitly raises an ethical tension—divine weapons elevate a person above others, so their use demands restraint and responsibility.
Droṇa, pleased and honored by Paraśurāma, receives instruction in the Brahmāstra. This acquisition makes him surpass other men in martial capability, setting the stage for his later prominence as a teacher and warrior.
