Ādi Parva, Adhyāya 113 — Maryādā-sthāpana (Śvetaketu’s Boundary) and the Niyoga Deliberation of Pāṇḍu and Kuntī

स तूर्यशतशड्खानां भेरीणां च महास्वनै: । हर्षयन्‌ सर्वश: पौरान्‌ विवेश गजसाह्वयम्‌,सैकड़ों शंख, तुरही एवं नगारोंकी तुमुल ध्वनिसे समस्त पुरवासियोंको आनन्दित करते हुए पाण्डुने हस्तिनापुरमें प्रवेश किया

sa tūryaśataśaṅkhānāṃ bherīṇāṃ ca mahāsvanaiḥ | harṣayan sarvaśaḥ paurān viveśa gajasāhvayam ||

Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: Sa malakas na ugong ng daan-daang trumpeta at kabibe, at sa dagundong ng malalaking tambol, pumasok si Pāṇḍu sa Gajasāhvaya (Hastināpura), pinasaya ang mga mamamayan sa lahat ng dako. Ipinakikita ng tagpong ito ang pagbabalik ng hari sa mata ng bayan bilang sandali ng ligayang panlungsod at sama-samang pagtitiwala sa matuwid na pamamahala ayon sa dharma.
