Pāṇḍu’s Gifts, Forest Residence, and Vidura’s Marriage

ततो निष्क्रान्तमागम्य माता पुत्रमुवाच ह | अप्यस्या गुणवान्‌ पुत्र राजपुत्रो भविष्यति,जब व्यासजी उसके महलसे बाहर निकले, तब माता सत्यवतीने आकर उनसे पूछा --<बेटा! क्या अम्बिकाके गर्भसे कोई गुणवान्‌ राजकुमार उत्पन्न होगा?”

tato niṣkrāntam āgamya mātā putram uvāca ha | apy asyā guṇavān putra rājaputro bhaviṣyati |

Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: Nang makalabas na si Vyāsa, lumapit ang ina niyang si Satyavatī sa kanyang anak at nagtanong, “Anak ko—may isisilang bang marangal at mabuting prinsipe mula sa sinapupunan ni Ambikā?”
