व्यपोहनस्तवनिरूपण-प्रसङ्गे नक्तभोजन-शिवव्रतविधिः (वार्षिक-प्रतिमास-क्रमः)

कृष्णं गोमिथुनं दद्यात् पूजयेच्चैव शंकरम् भोजयेद्ब्राह्मणांश्चैव यथाविभवविस्तरम्

kṛṣṇaṃ gomithunaṃ dadyāt pūjayeccaiva śaṃkaram bhojayedbrāhmaṇāṃścaiva yathāvibhavavistaram

Dapat maghandog ng isang pares ng bakang maitim, sambahin si Śaṅkara (Śiva), at pakainin din ang mga Brāhmaṇa—palawakin ang handog ayon sa kaya. Ang dāna at pūjā na ito, na iniaalay para kay Pati (Śiva), ay nagpapaluwag sa pāśa, ang tali ng makamundong pagkapit na gumagapos sa paśu (kaluluwang indibidwal).
