शिवार्चनविधिः — देवतानां पाशुपतव्रतप्राप्तिः तथा पशुपाशविमोक्षणम् (अध्याय ८०)
मयूरैश्चैव कारण्डैः कोकिलैश्चक्रवाककैः शोभिताभिश् च वापीभिर् दिव्यामृतजलैस् तथा
mayūraiścaiva kāraṇḍaiḥ kokilaiścakravākakaiḥ śobhitābhiś ca vāpībhir divyāmṛtajalais tathā
Pinapalamutian ng mga paboreal, mga ibong-tubig na kāraṇḍa, mga kokila at mga cakravāka; at lalo pang gumanda dahil sa mga lawa ng lotus na hitik sa banal na tubig na tila amṛta, ang nektar ng mga diyos.

It establishes the auspicious, purity-filled environment—marked by sacred waters and harmonious beings—considered fit for Shiva-upasana and for the installation or contemplation of the Linga.
By depicting nectar-like waters and pervasive beauty, it hints at Shiva as Pati whose presence sanctifies space, loosens pāśa (bondage), and makes the world conducive to inner stillness and grace.
The verse implies tirtha-sevana—approaching pure waters for snana (ritual bathing) and mental purification—supporting Pashupata-oriented discipline (śauca, steadiness, and devotion) before Shiva-puja.
