Shivamurti–Pratishtha Phala: Shivalaya-Nirmana, Kshetra-Mahatmya, Tirtha-Snana, and Mandala-Vidhi
सो ऽपि याति शिवं स्थानं प्राप्य किं पुनरेव च कृत्वा मण्डलकं क्षेत्रं गन्धगोमयवारिणा
so 'pi yāti śivaṃ sthānaṃ prāpya kiṃ punareva ca kṛtvā maṇḍalakaṃ kṣetraṃ gandhagomayavāriṇā
Maging siya man ay nakararating sa tahanan ni Śiva—ano pa ang dapat sabihin? Matapos munang ihanda ang banal na pook sa pamamagitan ng pagbuo ng maṇḍala at paglilinis ng lugar gamit ang mababangong sangkap, dumi ng baka, at tubig, siya’y nagiging karapat-dapat sa biyaya ni Śiva.

It teaches that proper preparation of the worship-site—forming a maṇḍala and purifying the kṣetra with water, cow-dung, and fragrance—is itself a powerful limb of Linga-puja that leads the pashu (soul) toward Śiva’s state (Pati).
Śiva is presented as Pati, the supreme destination and liberator; when the devotee removes impurity and aligns action with dharma through consecration, Śiva’s abode (Śiva-sthāna) becomes attainable by grace.
Kṣetra-śuddhi and maṇḍala-kriyā—ritual purification and consecration of the worship-space—supporting Pāśupata-oriented discipline where outer purity reinforces inner purification from pāśa (bondage).
