प्रसाद-ज्ञान-योग-मोक्षक्रमः तथा व्यास-रुद्रावतार-मन्वन्तर-परम्परा
तत्रतत्र विभोः शिष्याश् चत्वारः शमभाजनाः प्रशिष्या बहवस्तेषां प्रसीदत्येवमीश्वरः
tatratatra vibhoḥ śiṣyāś catvāraḥ śamabhājanāḥ praśiṣyā bahavasteṣāṃ prasīdatyevamīśvaraḥ
Dito at doon, ang Panginoong sumasaklaw sa lahat ay may apat na alagad—mga karapat-dapat na sisidlan ng śama (panloob na pagpipigil). Mula sa kanila ay sumibol ang maraming mga alagad na kasunod; sa ganitong paraan nagiging mapagpala ang Panginoon (Pati), si Īśvara.
Suta Goswami (narrating to the sages of Naimiṣāraṇya)
It links Śiva’s anugraha (grace) to disciplined transmission—worship and realization mature through guru–śiṣya succession grounded in śama, which makes the sādhaka fit for Linga-upāsanā.
Śiva is Vibhu and Īśvara—the Pati who pervades all and responds with grace when the paśu (soul) is refined through restraint and right guidance, indicating His role as bestower of anugraha.
Śama (inner calm, sense-restraint) as a core Pāśupata-Yogic qualification; the verse emphasizes disciplined discipleship as the practical means by which Śiva is pleased.
