Rudra’s Cosmic Dance and the Recognition of Rudra–Nārāyaṇa Unity (Īśvara-gītā Continuation)
Devotees/sages addressing the Supreme Lord (Īśvara) within the Ishvara Gita teaching context
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It presents the one Īśvara as the single refuge: remembrance of Him dissolves the causal “seed” of saṃsāra, implying liberation comes from direct God-centered realization rather than external rites alone.
Smaraṇa (continuous remembrance), mano-niyama (restraint of mind), and praṇidhāna (devotional fixing of attention) with bodily steadiness—core disciplines aligned with the Kurma Purana’s Pāśupata-oriented sādhanā.
By emphasizing “ekam īśam” (the one Lord), it supports the Kurma Purana’s non-sectarian synthesis: the supreme Īśvara is one, approached through devotion and yoga beyond narrow Shiva–Vishnu duality.
