न राज्ञः प्रतिगृह्णीयान्न शूद्रपतितादपि / न चान्यस्मादशक्तश्च निन्दितान् वर्जयेद् बुधः
na rājñaḥ pratigṛhṇīyānna śūdrapatitādapi / na cānyasmādaśaktaśca ninditān varjayed budhaḥ
Ang marunong ay hindi dapat tumanggap ng handog mula sa hari, ni mula sa Śūdra, ni mula sa taong nalugmok sa wastong asal; ni mula sa sinumang nagbibigay na walang kakayahang magbigay nang ayon sa Dharma. Dapat iwasan ng may discernment ang mga handog mula sa mga kapintasanin.
