इति श्रीकूर्मपुराणे षट्साहस्त्र्यां संहितायां पूर्वविभागे विशो ऽध्यायः रोमहर्षण उवाच ऐलः पुरूरवाश्चाथ राजा राज्यमपालयत् / तस्य पुत्रा बभूवुर्हि षडिन्द्रसमतेजसः

Kaya, sa Śrī Kūrma Purāṇa, sa kalipunang may anim na libong taludtod, sa Pūrva-bhāga, sa ika-dalawampu’t isang kabanata, sinabi ni Romaharṣaṇa: “Si Aila Purūravas noon ay namuno at nag-ingat sa kaharian. Tunay, mayroon siyang anim na anak na lalaki, na ang ningning ay kapantay ni Indra.”
