The Universal Form (Virāṭ-Puruṣa): The Lord’s Entry into the Elements, the Devas, and the Origin of Varṇāśrama
This verse states that when the Universal Person’s heart manifested, Candramā entered it, and by his portion the jīva’s mind becomes active and undergoes changes.
He is explaining cosmic creation: each organ/seat of the Virāṭ-Puruṣa is empowered by a presiding deity, showing that material functions operate under divine governance.
Recognize the mind’s changeable nature and practice steadiness through sādhana (hearing, chanting, remembrance), rather than identifying with every mental fluctuation.
