Varāha-avatāra: The Boar Incarnation Lifts the Earth and Slays Hiraṇyākṣa
The purpose of the material creation by Brahmā is clearly described herein. Every human being should beget nice children in the womb of his wife, as a sacrifice for the purpose of worshiping the Supreme Personality of Godhead in devotional service. In the Viṣṇu Purāṇa (3.8.9) it is stated:
This verse instructs a king (Manu) to govern the earth by dharma—righteous principles—and to see rulership as a sacred duty aligned with worship of the Supreme Lord.
Brahmā guides Manu to establish orderly human society: produce virtuous progeny to continue dharmic leadership, and maintain devotion to the Supreme Person by performing yajñas.
Live responsibly in family and work, cultivate good character, support society ethically, and keep spiritual practice central—offering one’s actions as worship of God.
