Dakṣa’s Daughters, Cosmic Lineages, and the Population of the Three Worlds
अर्कस्य वासना भार्या पुत्रास्तर्षादय: स्मृता: । अग्नेर्भार्या वसोर्धारा पुत्रा द्रविणकादय: ॥ १३ ॥
arkasya vāsanā bhāryā putrās tarṣādayaḥ smṛtāḥ agner bhāryā vasor dhārā putrā draviṇakādayaḥ
Mula sa sinapupunan ni Vāsanā, asawa ni Arka, ay lumabas ang maraming anak na lalaki na pinangungunahan ni Tarṣa. Si Dhārā, asawa ng Vasu na si Agni, ay nagsilang din ng maraming anak na lalaki na pinangungunahan ni Draviṇaka.
This verse states that Arka’s wife is Vāsanā, and their sons include Tarṣa and others.
