Nṛsiṁhadeva Appears from the Pillar and Slays Hiraṇyakaśipu
तदा विमानावलिभिर्नभस्तलं दिदृक्षतां सङ्कुलमास नाकिनाम् । सुरानका दुन्दुभयोऽथ जघ्निरे गन्धर्वमुख्या ननृतुर्जगु: स्त्रिय: ॥ ३६ ॥
tadā vimānāvalibhir nabhastalaṁ didṛkṣatāṁ saṅkulam āsa nākinām surānakā dundubhayo ’tha jaghnire gandharva-mukhyā nanṛtur jaguḥ striyaḥ
Noong sandaling iyon, nagsiksikan sa langit ang mga vimāna ng mga deva na nagnanais masaksihan ang mga gawain ng Panginoong Nārāyaṇa. Nagsimulang tumugtog ang mga deva ng mga tambol at duṇḍubhi; sa pagkarinig nito, sumayaw ang mga babaeng makalangit, at umawit nang matamis ang mga pinuno ng Gandharva.
