This is the effect of the preaching of a pure devotee like Prahlāda Mahārāja. If a devotee is qualified, sincere and serious about Kṛṣṇa consciousness and if he follows the instructions of a bona fide spiritual master, as Prahlāda Mahārāja did when preaching the instructions he had received from Nārada Muni, his preaching is effective. As it is said in the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam (3.25.25) :
This verse shows that when pure devotional truth is heard, sincere listeners can accept it as flawless even if it was not taught by their official teachers—highlighting the transformative power of śravaṇam (hearing).
Śrī Nārada Muni is speaking, describing how the sons of the Daityas accepted the narrated teachings as blameless, despite those teachings not coming from their conventional school instructors.
Seek and regularly hear authentic spiritual teachings; evaluate them by their purity and coherence, not merely by institutional approval—then adopt what is truly uplifting and free from harm.
