Prahlāda Rejects Material Boons; Forgives His Father; Tripura and the Power of Remembrance
Here it is stated that anyone who chants and hears about the activities of Prahlāda Mahārāja and, in relationship with Prahlāda’s activities, the activities of Nṛsiṁhadeva, gradually becomes free from all the bondage of fruitive activities. As stated in Bhagavad-gītā (2.15, 2.56):
This verse says one becomes freed from karma-bandha by reciting Prahlāda’s hymn to the Lord and remembering both the devotee (Prahlāda) and the Lord at the final moment.
After being pleased by Prahlāda’s prayers in Canto 7, Chapter 10, Lord Nṛsiṁhadeva grants a boon, declaring that glorification of those prayers and remembrance of Prahlāda and Himself leads to liberation.
Regularly recite or hear Prahlāda’s prayers, cultivate remembrance of the Lord throughout the day, and keep saintly devotees in your memory and association so that remembrance becomes natural at life’s end.
