Devotion in Kimpuruṣa-varṣa and the Glory of Bhārata-varṣa

एतदेव हि देवा गायन्ति— अहो अमीषां किमकारि शोभनं प्रसन्न एषां स्विदुत स्वयं हरि: । यैर्जन्म लब्धं नृषु भारताजिरे मुकुन्दसेवौपयिकं स्पृहा हि न: ॥ २१ ॥
etad eva hi devā gāyanti — aho amīṣāṁ kim akāri śobhanaṁ prasanna eṣāṁ svid uta svayaṁ hariḥ yair janma labdhaṁ nṛṣu bhāratājire mukunda-sevaupayikaṁ spṛhā hi naḥ
Sinasambit ng mga diyos: Kay kamangha-mangha! Tiyak na nakagawa sila ng dakilang kabutihan, o kaya si Śrī Hari mismo ay nalugod sa kanila; kaya sila’y isinilang bilang tao sa lupain ng Bhārata, na angkop para sa paglilingkod kay Mukunda. Kami, mga diyos, ay naghahangad ding ipanganak bilang tao sa Bhārata-varṣa upang magsagawa ng bhakti; ngunit sila’y naroon na at abala na sa paglilingkod.

Because human birth in Bhārata-varṣa is especially conducive to Mukunda-sevā—devotional service to the Supreme Lord—which even the demigods aspire for.
Shukadeva Gosvami speaks this to King Parikshit while describing the unique spiritual opportunity available in Bhārata-varṣa.
It urges us to value human life as a rare chance for bhakti—using time, abilities, and daily duties to serve Mukunda through remembrance, worship, and ethical living.
