The Disappearance of the Yadu Dynasty and Lord Kṛṣṇa’s Departure
According to Śrīla Jīva Gosvāmī, the word tu here emphasizes that Dāruka is an eternally liberated associate of Lord Kṛṣṇa, having descended from Vaikuṇṭha. Therefore, even though others might be bewildered by the Lord’s pastimes, Dāruka should remain peaceful and fixed in spiritual knowledge.
It teaches to take shelter of Kṛṣṇa’s dharma, stay fixed in spiritual knowledge, and remain a detached observer, understanding events as arranged by His māyā.
As Kṛṣṇa’s earthly pastimes were concluding and the Yadu dynasty’s end was unfolding, He instructed Uddhava to remain undisturbed, recognize the divine arrangement, and proceed toward spiritual peace.
When change, loss, or conflict arises, practice steadiness through spiritual study and devotion, observe without panic or resentment, and respond with duty while keeping inner calm rooted in awareness of God’s higher arrangement.
