Bhakti as the Easy and Supreme Yoga: Seeing Kṛṣṇa in All and Uddhava’s Departure to Badarikāśrama
मामेव सर्वभूतेषु बहिरन्तरपावृतम् । ईक्षेतात्मनि चात्मानं यथा खममलाशय: ॥ १२ ॥
mām eva sarva-bhūteṣu bahir antar apāvṛtam īkṣetātmani cātmānaṁ yathā kham amalāśayaḥ
Sa pusong dalisay, masdan Ako na bumabalot sa lahat ng nilalang, sa labas at sa loob. At masdan din ang Paramātmā sa sarili sa gayon ding paraan—di nadudungisan ng materya at nasa lahat ng dako, tulad ng langit na laganap.
According to Śrīla Viśvanātha Cakravartī Ṭhākura, the Lord has spoken the present verse to attract those who are inclined toward philosophical speculation about the Absolute Truth. In 11.29.12, Kṛṣṇa teaches that with a pure heart one should perceive Him alone pervading all beings both externally and internally—developing a God-centered vision of life.
As Kṛṣṇa prepared to depart from the world, He gave Uddhava the essence of bhakti and jñāna: a purified, all-pervading vision of the Lord (Paramātmā) that frees one from bodily and sectarian sight.
