Arjuna Marries Subhadrā; Kṛṣṇa Honors Two Devotees in Mithilā (Śrutadeva and Bahulāśva)
This verse shows Balarāma’s agitation compared to a surging ocean, yet he becomes calm when restrained by Kṛṣṇa and soothed by well-wishers—teaching that anger can be checked through divine guidance and good association.
Kṛṣṇa physically restrained Balarāma to prevent his agitation from escalating, and to restore harmony—an intimate act of brotherly intervention within the Lord’s līlā.
When emotions surge, seek the grounding influence of a trusted guide and supportive friends; practical restraint and calming counsel can return the mind to steadiness and dharmic action.
