The Solar Eclipse at Samanta-pañcaka and the Great Reunion of Yādavas, Pāṇḍavas, and Vraja
The cowherds of Vraja were planning to stay at Kurukṣetra for some days, so they came equipped with adequate provisions, especially milk products and other foods for the pleasure of Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma.
This verse shows Nanda and the cowherd men immediately going to meet the Yadus because Krishna was leading them—highlighting the Vrajavāsīs’ intense longing for Kṛṣṇa’s darśana.
He learned that the Yadus had come with Kṛṣṇa at their head, so he went with the gopas in their wagons, driven by the desire to see Kṛṣṇa and His relatives.
Cultivate steady spiritual “darśana”—regularly seek the Lord through deity worship, scripture, and satsanga—so that devotion becomes an eager, living relationship rather than a routine.
