Kṛṣṇa’s Daily Life in Dvārakā; the Captive Kings’ Appeal; Nārada Announces the Rājasūya
स नमस्कृत्य कृष्णाय परेशाय कृताञ्जलि: । राज्ञामावेदयद् दु:खं जरासन्धनिरोधजम् ॥ २३ ॥
sa namaskṛtya kṛṣṇāya pareśāya kṛtāñjaliḥ rājñām āvedayad duḥkhaṁ jarāsandha-nirodha-jam
Siya’y yumukod at nag-alay ng paggalang kay Śrī Kṛṣṇa, ang Kataas-taasang Panginoon; at nang magkadikit ang mga palad, isinalaysay niya ang pagdurusa ng mga hari dahil sa pagkakabilanggo ni Jarāsandha.
This verse shows that distress is brought before Kṛṣṇa—acknowledged as the Supreme Lord—because He is the ultimate refuge and protector who can remove the causes of suffering.
They were suffering because Jarāsandha had confined them; the messenger respectfully reported this imprisonment-born misery to Kṛṣṇa to seek relief.
When facing oppression, anxiety, or injustice, one can adopt the posture of surrender—humble prayer and honest reporting of one’s situation to the Lord—while seeking righteous solutions.
