Nārada Sees Lord Kṛṣṇa’s Yoga-māyā in the Palaces of the Queens
Dvāra-kā-līlā
दृष्टं तवाङ्घ्रियुगलं जनतापवर्गं ब्रह्मादिभिर्हृदि विचिन्त्यमगाधबोधै: । संसारकूपपतितोत्तरणावलम्बं ध्यायंश्चराम्यनुगृहाण यथा स्मृति: स्यात् ॥ १८ ॥
dṛṣṭaṁ tavāṅghri-yugalaṁ janatāpavargaṁ brahmādibhir hṛdi vicintyam agādha-bodhaiḥ saṁsāra-kūpa-patitottaraṇāvalambaṁ dhyāyaṁś carāmy anugṛhāṇa yathā smṛtiḥ syāt
Ngayon ay nakita ko na ang iyong dalawang paa, na nagbibigay ng paglaya sa mga deboto; na kahit si Brahmā at iba pang dakilang may di-masukat na talino ay sa puso lamang nakapagninilay; at siyang sandigan ng mga nahulog sa balon ng saṁsāra upang makaahon. Maawa ka sa akin upang sa aking paglalakbay ay lagi kitang mapagnilayan—ipagkaloob mo sa akin ang lakas ng walang patid na pag-alaala sa Iyo.
Lord Kṛṣṇa had asked Nārada Muni, “What can We do for you?” and here Nārada answers. Nārada Muni is a pure devotee of Lord Kṛṣṇa, and thus his request is sublime.
This verse declares Kṛṣṇa’s lotus feet to be the very support for one fallen into the “well of saṁsāra,” enabling deliverance from worldly suffering and attainment of liberation.
After receiving Kṛṣṇa’s darśana, Nārada recognizes that steady remembrance is the sustaining grace that keeps devotion alive even while moving through the world, so he begs Kṛṣṇa to bless him with unfailing memory.
Keep Kṛṣṇa’s feet in mind through daily japa, brief prayers before and after work, and reading a small portion of Bhagavatam—seeking the Lord’s mercy for steady remembrance amid distractions.
