नूनं नानामदोन्नद्धा: शान्तिं नेच्छन्त्यसाधव: । तेषां हि प्रशमो दण्ड: पशूनां लगुडो यथा ॥ ३१ ॥

Transliteration

nūnaṁ nānā-madonnaddhāḥ śāntiṁ necchanty asādhavaḥ teṣāṁ hi praśamo daṇḍaḥ paśūnāṁ laguḍo yathā

Translation

Malinaw na ang maraming pagnanasa ng mga tampalasang ito ay nagpa-arogante sa kanila kaya hindi nila nais ng kapayapaan. Kung gayon, hayaan silang mapayapa sa pamamagitan ng pisikal na parusa, tulad ng mga hayop na dinidisiplina gamit ang patpat.
