Balarāma Visits Vraja: Consoling the Gopīs and Dragging the Yamunā
कच्चिन्नो बान्धवा राम सर्वे कुशलमासते । कच्चित् स्मरथ नो राम यूयं दारसुतान्विता: ॥ ७ ॥
kaccin no bāndhavā rāma sarve kuśalam āsate kaccit smaratha no rāma yūyaṁ dāra-sutānvitāḥ
[Sinabi ng mga pastol:] “O Rāma, mabuti ba ang kalagayan ng lahat naming kamag-anak? At O Rāma, kayo ba—kasama ang mga asawa at mga anak—ay naaalala pa rin kami?”

This verse shows the intimate, personal bond of Vraja’s devotees: even in distance, their love expresses itself as concern for well-being and a longing to be remembered—an example of bhakti deepened through separation (viraha).
