Kṛṣṇa Defeats Bāṇāsura and Receives Śiva’s Prayers
The Śoṇitapura Battle and the Jvara Episode
Bāṇāsura, enraged and armed with many weapons and thousands of arms, showers arrows upon Lord Kṛṣṇa, described as the wielder of the Sudarśana cakra.
Because Kṛṣṇa is identified with the Sudarśana chakra as His divine weapon, symbolizing His supreme protection and invincible power in His līlās.
Even when opposition seems overwhelming, the Bhagavatam emphasizes taking shelter of the Lord, whose protection is beyond material strength and weaponry.
