Akrūra’s Journey to Vraja and His Devotional Vision of Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma
न तस्य कश्चिद् दयित: सुहृत्तमो न चाप्रियो द्वेष्य उपेक्ष्य एव वा । तथापि भक्तान् भजते यथा तथा सुरद्रुमो यद्वदुपाश्रितोऽर्थद: ॥ २२ ॥
na tasya kaścid dayitaḥ suhṛttamo na cāpriyo dveṣya upekṣya eva vā tathāpi bhaktān bhajate yathā tathā sura-drumo yadvad upāśrito ’rtha-daḥ
Ang Kataas-taasang Panginoon ay walang paborito at walang pinakamamahal na kaibigan; ni hindi Niya itinuturing ang sinuman na di-kanais-nais, kasuklam-suklam, o dapat pabayaan. Gayunman, tumutugon Siya nang may pag-ibig sa Kanyang mga deboto ayon sa paraan ng kanilang pagsamba, tulad ng punong-kahoy sa langit na tumutupad sa hangarin ng sinumang lumalapit.
The Lord says something similar in the Bhagavad-gītā (9.29) :
This verse explains that Kṛṣṇa has no personal bias—no one is intrinsically dear or hateful to Him—yet He lovingly reciprocates with His devotees according to their surrender and devotion.
Because, like a celestial tree that grants the desires of those who take shelter of it, Kṛṣṇa fulfills the spiritual needs and aspirations of devotees who approach Him, each according to their mood and faith.
Approach devotion consistently—through chanting, prayer, and service—without envy or entitlement; the teaching is that sincere surrender brings an appropriate, personal response from the Divine.
