सुरुचिस्तं समुत्थाप्य पादावनतमर्भकम् । परिष्वज्याह जीवेति बाष्पगद्गदया गिरा ॥ ४६ ॥
surucis taṁ samutthāpya pādāvanatam arbhakam pariṣvajyāha jīveti bāṣpa-gadgadayā girā
Si Suruci, ang nakababatang ina ni Dhruva Mahārāja, nang makita ang inosenteng bata na nagpatirapa sa kanyang mga paa, agad niya itong itinayo, niyakap sa dalawang kamay, at sa tinig na nauutal dahil sa luha ng damdamin ay nagbasbas: “Anak ko, mabuhay ka nang matagal!”
