एवं मृशन्त ऋषयो धावतां सर्वतोदिशम् । पांसु: समुत्थितो भूरिश्चोराणामभिलुम्पताम् ॥ ३८ ॥
evaṁ mṛśanta ṛṣayo dhāvatāṁ sarvato-diśam pāṁsuḥ samutthito bhūriś corāṇām abhilumpatām
Habang nag-uusap nang ganito ang mga dakilang rishi, nakita nila ang isang unos ng alikabok na bumangon mula sa lahat ng dako. Ang alikabok na iyon ay dulot ng pagtakbo ng mga magnanakaw at tulisan na abala sa pagnanakaw sa mga mamamayan.
