The Lord Appears to the Devas and Instructs the Truce; Mandara Is Brought for Churning
This verse shows that even the highest cosmic controllers—Brahmā and Śiva—recognize Bhagavān as supreme and therefore bow to Him before returning to their abodes.
After receiving direction in the unfolding truce narrative, the demigods approached Bali Mahārāja, indicating a coordinated step in the Deva–Asura agreement central to the churning-of-the-ocean context.
Honor rightful authority with humility: even great leaders act reverently toward the Supreme and then responsibly return to their duties—devotion and duty together.
