Matsya-avatāra: The Lord as Fish Saves the Vedas and Guides Satyavrata
This verse says that one who glorifies (kīrtayet) Lord Hari’s incarnation daily attains fulfillment of his saṅkalpas and reaches the supreme destination.
At the close of the Matsya-avatāra narration, Śukadeva highlights the Bhagavatam’s core practice—hearing and chanting the Lord’s līlā—stating its direct spiritual result: perfection and liberation.
Set a daily routine of reading or chanting the Matsya-avatāra section (or its names and qualities) with devotion; make your intentions aligned with dharma and bhakti, and keep the practice consistent (anvaham).
