Transliteration

evaṁ śaptaḥ sva-guruṇā satyān na calito mahān vāmanāya dadāv enām arcitvodaka-pūrvakam

Translation

Kahit isinumpa ng sarili niyang guro, ang dakilang Bali Mahārāja ay hindi lumihis sa kanyang paninindigan sa katotohanan. Ayon sa kaugalian, una niyang sinamba si Vāmanadeva sa pag-aalay ng tubig, at saka ibinigay ang lupang ipinangako niya.
