This verse highlights that Vāmana’s appearance and Bali’s sacrifice were cosmic events witnessed by many classes of beings, showing the universal significance of Viṣṇu’s dharma-protecting līlā.
Śukadeva Gosvāmī is describing the scene to Mahārāja Parīkṣit as part of the narration of Vāmana Deva’s approach to Bali Mahārāja.
It reminds a devotee that the Lord’s work is not ordinary—approach sacred duties and vows with reverence, integrity, and awareness that dharma has far-reaching consequences.
