Indra Slays Namuci—The Limits of Power and the Triumph of Divine Strategy
इति शक्रं विषीदन्तमाह वागशरीरिणी । नायं शुष्कैरथो नार्द्रैर्वधमर्हति दानव: ॥ ३७ ॥
iti śakraṁ viṣīdantam āha vāg aśarīriṇī nāyaṁ śuṣkair atho nārdrair vadham arhati dānavaḥ
Habang nagdadalamhati si Indra at nananaghoy, may isang walang-katawang tinig mula sa langit na nagsabi: “Ang asurang si Namuci ay hindi mapupuksa ng anumang tuyo o basa.”
