स तानापतत: शक्रस्तावद्भि: शीघ्रविक्रम: । चिच्छेद निशितैर्भल्लैरसम्प्राप्तान्हसन्निव ॥ ४२ ॥
sa tān āpatataḥ śakras tāvadbhiḥ śīghra-vikramaḥ ciccheda niśitair bhallair asamprāptān hasann iva
Bago pa man makarating sa kanya ang mga palaso ni Maharaja Bali, si Indra, ang Hari ng langit, na dalubhasa sa paghawak ng mga palaso, ay ngumiti at sinalag ang mga palaso gamit ang isa pang uri ng mga palaso, na kilala bilang bhalla, na napakatalim.
