Gajendra Prelude
This verse states that during that particular manvantara, the ruler of Svarga (Indra) was Rocana.
The Tuṣitas are a class of demigods; this verse identifies them as the prominent devas (“headed by the Tuṣitas”) in that manvantara.
They teach that cosmic leadership changes by time-cycles under the Lord’s order, encouraging humility, faith in divine governance, and steadiness in dharma beyond temporary positions.
