Related Themes: Agni Purana 278.63 (virecana/vamana drugs and anupāna by doṣa)
Ayurvedic practical guidance: use oil and ghee as the best substances for internal oleation (snehapāna) and enema therapy (vasti); use heat/fire for sudation (svedana); use cold water for stambhana (checking excessive flow/secretions).
It shows the Agni Purana preserving applied medical science alongside religious topics, summarizing core therapeutic principles of Panchakarma and basic treatment logic (heat for sweating, cold for arresting/solidifying).
By promoting bodily balance and disciplined therapy, the verse supports purity and fitness for dharma and worship; health is treated as an enabling condition for right conduct and sustained religious practice.
