करन्धमान्मरुत्तोभूद् दुष्मन्तस्तस्य चात्मजः दुष्मन्तस्य वरूथो ऽभूद्गाण्डीरस्तु वरूथतः
karandhamānmaruttobhūd duṣmantastasya cātmajaḥ duṣmantasya varūtho 'bhūdgāṇḍīrastu varūthataḥ
Mula kay Karaṇdhamān ay isinilang si Marutta; at ang kaniyang anak ay si Duṣmanta. Mula kay Duṣmanta ay isinilang si Varūtha, at mula kay Varūtha ay (isinilang) si Gāṇḍīra.
