It prescribes a śānti-homa application: offering ghee (ājya) into the sacred fire in measured portions (bhāgaśaḥ) while reciting the “śanno devīḥ…” auspicious invocation and the specific “ekacakra” mantra.
It exemplifies the Agni Purana’s practical ritual manual style—recording exact mantra cues and the material method (ghee oblations in portions) used in pacificatory rites, alongside its many other domains (temple practice, dharma, polity, medicine, and arts).
Performing the prescribed śānti-homa with auspicious devī-invocation and properly portioned offerings is intended to generate śānti (peace), remove obstacles, and secure desired outcomes through disciplined mantra and sacrificial action.
