Adhyaya 236 — श्रीस्तोत्रम् (Śrī-stotra) / Hymn to Śrī (Lakṣmī) for Royal Stability and Victory

सत्त्वेन सत्यशौचाभ्यां तथा शीलादिभिर्गुणैः त्यजन्ते ते नरा सद्यः सन्त्यक्ता ये त्वयामले

sattvena satyaśaucābhyāṃ tathā śīlādibhirguṇaiḥ tyajante te narā sadyaḥ santyaktā ye tvayāmale

Ang mga lalaking iniwan mo, O Walang Dungis, ay agad ding iniiwan ng sarili nilang mga birtud—ng sattva (kadalisayan ng pagkatao), ng katotohanan at kalinisan, at ng mabuting asal at iba pang katangian.
