Chapter 229 — शकुनानि (Śakuna: Omens)

गावस्तरङ्गमा नागा देवश् च ज्वलितो ऽनलः दूर्वार्द्रगोमयं वेश्या स्वर्णरूप्यञ्च रत्नकं

gāvastaraṅgamā nāgā devaś ca jvalito 'nalaḥ dūrvārdragomayaṃ veśyā svarṇarūpyañca ratnakaṃ

Mga baka, mga alon na gumagalaw, mga ahas, isang diyos at naglalagablab na apoy; damong dūrvā, basang dumi ng baka, isang kurtisana; at ginto, pilak, at isang hiyas—ang mga ito’y binibilang bilang mahahalagang bagay sa panaginip/palatandaan.
