अन्यत्र विप्रे सकलं पादोनं क्षत्रिये मतं वैश्ये ऽर्धपादं क्षत्रे स्याद्वृद्धस्त्रीबालरोगिषु

anyatra vipre sakalaṃ pādonaṃ kṣatriye mataṃ vaiśye 'rdhapādaṃ kṣatre syādvṛddhastrībālarogiṣu

Sa ibang mga kalagayan, ang ganap na sukat ng pag-penitensiya/parusa ay itinakda para sa isang brāhmaṇa; para sa kṣatriya ito’y itinuturing na nabawasan ng isang-kapat; para sa vaiśya ay nabawasan ng kalahati; at para sa śūdra—gayundin sa matatanda, kababaihan, mga bata, at maysakit—dapat pang pagaanin ayon sa nararapat.
