व्रात्यता बान्धवत्यागो भृताध्यापनमेव च भृताच्चाध्ययनादानमविक्रेयस्य विक्रयः

Ang maging vrātya (yaong nahulog mula sa itinakdang disiplina ng Veda), ang pagtalikod sa mga kamag-anak, ang pagtuturo kapalit ng upa, ang pagtanggap ng bayad para sa pag-aaral/pagbigkas ng Veda, at ang pagbebenta ng bagay na hindi dapat ipagbili—ang mga ito ay hinahatulan bilang adharma (laban sa dharma).
