समाचरेदिति ख , छ च दयास्तेयमिति ङ त्रिदण्डी चेति ङ पद्मकाद्यासनं महत् इति ट रेचनाद्रेचकः प्रोक्तो मात्राभेदेन च त्रिधा द्वादशात्तु चतुर्विंशः षट्त्रिंशन्मात्रिको ऽपरः

samācarediti kha , cha ca dayāsteyamiti ṅa tridaṇḍī ceti ṅa padmakādyāsanaṃ mahat iti ṭa recanādrecakaḥ prokto mātrābhedena ca tridhā dvādaśāttu caturviṃśaḥ ṣaṭtriṃśanmātriko 'paraḥ

“Dapat isagawa (ang mga ito),” ayon sa pagbasa sa kha/cha; “dayā (habag) at asteya (di-pagnanakaw),” ayon sa pagbasa sa ṅa; at “ang ascetang may tatlong tungkod (tridaṇḍin),” ayon din sa ṅa; at “ang dakilang āsana na nagsisimula sa padmaka (upong-lotus),” ayon sa pagbasa sa ṭa. Mula sa recana (“pagpapalabas”) ipinapaliwanag ang salitang recaka (pagbuga). Ayon sa pagkakaiba ng mātrā (yunit ng oras), ito’y tatlong uri: 12 mātrā, 24 mātrā, at isa pang 36 mātrā.
