FAQs

The verse ties everyday acts to ritual time-discipline: by regulating pleasure, grooming, and diet according to tithi-qualities, one cultivates mindfulness and subordinates impulse to dharmic order.

This is again ancillary material: vrata/ācāra guidance rather than sarga/pratisarga or dynastic narration. It reflects the Purāṇic role as a practical dharma handbook.

The tithi-classes encode a sacral calendar where ‘full/empty/auspicious’ time qualities shape conduct; abstentions symbolize conserving ojas and aligning personal life with cosmic rhythm (ṛta).
