Verse 7

Mundaka

बृहच्च तद् दिव्यमचिन्त्यरूपं सूक्ष्माच्च तत् सूक्ष्मतरं विभाति । दूरात् सुदूरे तदिहान्तिके च पश्यन्त्विहैव निहितं गुहायाम् ॥७॥

बृहत् च । तत् । दिव्यम् । अ-चिन्त्य-रूपम् । सूक्ष्मात् च । तत् । सूक्ष्म-तरम् । विभाति । दूरात् । सु-दूरे । तत् । इह । अन्तिके । च । पश्यन्ति । इह । एव । निहितम् । गुहायाम् ॥७॥

bṛhac ca tad divyam acintyarūpaṃ sūkṣmāc ca tat sūkṣmataraṃ vibhāti | dūrāt sudūre tad ihāntike ca paśyantv ihaiva nihitaṃ guhāyām ||7||

พระพรหมันนั้นกว้างใหญ่และทิพย์ เป็นรูปอันเกินคาดคิด และส่องประกายละเอียดกว่าสิ่งที่ละเอียดที่สุด พระองค์อยู่ไกล—ไกลยิ่งนัก—แต่ก็อยู่ใกล้ ณ ที่นี่เอง; ผู้รู้ย่อมเห็นพระองค์ ณ ที่นี่เอง ประดิษฐานอยู่ในถ้ำแห่งดวงใจ

That (Brahman) is vast and divine, of inconceivable form; and it shines forth subtler than the subtle. It is far—indeed very far—and yet here it is near; they see it here itself, lodged in the cave (of the heart).
