yathā pāpāni dhūyaṃte gaṃgāvārivigāhanāt | tathā purāṇaśravaṇādduritānāṃ vinā śanam

ดุจดังบาปทั้งหลายถูกชำระด้วยการอาบน้ำในสายน้ำคงคา ฉันใด การสดับฟังปุราณะก็ยังความพินาศแห่งกรรมชั่วให้สิ้นไป ฉันนั้น
