प्रस्तुतं प्राह राजेन्द्रं नृपते कुशलं पुरे । कोशे बले च मित्रे च भृत्यामात्य प्रजासु च । तथात्मनि महाबाहो यत्र सर्वं प्रतिष्ठितम्
prastutaṃ prāha rājendraṃ nṛpate kuśalaṃ pure | kośe bale ca mitre ca bhṛtyāmātya prajāsu ca | tathātmani mahābāho yatra sarvaṃ pratiṣṭhitam
แล้วท่านจึงกล่าวอย่างเหมาะควรต่อพระราชาธิราชว่า “ข้าแต่นฤปติ ในพระนครสวัสดีหรือไม่—ทั้งพระคลัง กองทัพ มิตรสหาย ข้าราชบริพารและอำมาตย์ ตลอดจนราษฎร? และข้าแต่มหาพาหุ ผู้เป็นที่พึ่งแห่งสรรพสิ่ง พระองค์เองทรงสวัสดีหรือไม่?”
