चैत्र्यां श्राद्धं प्रभासे तु ये कुर्वंति मनीषिणः । न ते मर्त्त्या भवन्तीह कुलजैः सह सत्तमाः
caitryāṃ śrāddhaṃ prabhāse tu ye kurvaṃti manīṣiṇaḥ | na te marttyā bhavantīha kulajaiḥ saha sattamāḥ
บรรดาผู้รู้ผู้มีปัญญาซึ่งประกอบศราทธะ ณ ประภาสะในเดือนไจตระ ย่อมไม่ดำรงอยู่ที่นี่ในฐานะปุถุชนผู้ตายได้เท่านั้น; พร้อมด้วยวงศ์ตระกูล เขาย่อมได้สู่ฐานะอันประเสริฐ
